About Our Location
Undisclosed Location is the new location of Sound Sound, a recording and music production company founded in Seattle in 1990. The studio is run by Tom Fallat in Artspace Hiawatha Lofts. The previous location on Union Street in the Central District was near the house where Curt Cobain and Courtney Love lived during the Nirvana years.
This new location is about a mile south, not far from Jimi Hendrix’s former house and near Garfield High School, which he and Quincy Jones attended at different times and near Franklin High School, which Kenny G attended. The studio is also near Seattle’s International District, a rich cultural melting pot, near the area which historically functioned as Seattle’s red light district when it was a rough pioneer town during and after the gold rush in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
